Mack Michaels – my new BFF

So here’s part one – bringing a little bit more detail about me, the “REAL” Mack Michaels and how far I’ve come in six months.

As I said I’d never heard of any other Mack Michaels but me and was playing around on google looking up school friends and seeing how they were doing with their lives. I’ll point out that my life wasn’t exactly the success I’d always dreamed – I’d settled for a regular job, quite dull, Monday to Friday drudgery and a small pay check at the end of each month – I wasn’t poor, or destitute, I wasn’t eating out of trashcans and sleeping in my car. I was just normal.

Anyways, my dreams of wealth and travel had been put in the Never Likely To Happen category several years previous and I’d gotten round to just accepting my life for what it was. A bit crappy, but ok on the whole.

When I found Mack Michaels

So I was checking up to see if I was doing better or worse than my old friends.

I couldn’t find many of them but one guy was a hotshot international lawyer and an ex girlfriend was president of a multi-million digital media company. At a push I’ll say I was happy for them but it made me feel a bit small.

Just out of interest I wanted to see if I appeared – and thats when I came across all these “Mack Michaels Is A Scam” type sites.

Who the HELL was this other Mack Michaels!? What the hell was the Maverick Money Makers Club?

I set out to investigate Mack Michaels…

It was probably luck that I was feeling pretty low when I came across the MMM site as reading through that LONG page, something in it resonated with me (either that or it was just cleverly copywritten!) and I found myself ordering it there and then.

I liked the idea of being a maverick, but I liked the idea of making lots of money even more!

I’d never heard of affiliate marketing. I didn’t know of Internet Marketing and assumed it was just the banner adverts you see all over websites.

Those first few videos were pretty eye-popping!

Now those that know me know that I’m a realist – some (or most) would call me a pessimist so I knew to take some of the things said with a pinch of salt. I reckoned that if I even managed 1/4 of what Mack was suggesting then I’d be in a better financial position and could maybe start to do some of the things I wanted – simple stuff like wear cool clothes. Get a newer car. Go out for meals.

I procrastinated wildly for a couple weeks putting off doing anything – mostly out of fear and because I didn’t feel I knew enough (the start of the course COULD be a bit broader).

Then one day I was sick of being a bit of a loser and so I bought a domain name, took out some hosting and set up a very simple, ugly website using some free online software and joined an affiliate network. I was going to promote a dog product as I liked dogs and so I was quite excited by my start into internet marketing…

Using a few hints and tips, I got the site indexed in Google after about 4 days and I was ready for the commissions to roll in!

I earned $7 that first month.

I was officially the WORST internet marketeer on earth. The other Mack Michaels was probably laughing at me.

Ok. Put it down to experience and pick a better product, build a nicer looking website. I even invested in some stock images so it was 200% better than the dog one.

It was indexed in 3 days, fully in a week. I started to get traffic – like 20 people a day and I was YES I’m THE MAN!

I started selling. $25 one day, $30 the next, and suddenly a week later it was $40 – $50 a day. I checked my traffic and I was getting 70 people a day. SEVENTY PEOPLE were visiting my little site every day.

I knew I had to roll this out. Do more. Do better
