Content Statement

MackMichaels.org lists and reviews Business Opportunities, Internet Marketing (IM) training products, Internet Marketing tools and related products and services.

I may accept various forms of compensation to cover the costs of running this website. This compensation may influence the advertising content made within the site – but it will not effect the content of reviews, topics or posts made in any way whatsoever.

Paid content – (ie advertising space) may not always be identified as paid or sponsored content, but its positioning in the right hand margin of the site will usually make this clear. Any product claim, statistic, quote or other representation about a product or service should be verified with the manufacturer, provider or party in question.

Third-Party & Sponsor Ads

MackMichaels.org may receive revenue from advertising. I may be paid by the advertiser directly for displaying ads and/or I may use an advertising network such as Google AdSense.

In either case I try to display relevant ads that may be of interest to my visitors. In most cases I do not have complete control over what ads are displayed on our pages. If you see an ad (for example from Google AdSense) and a web page of mine about the same product or service, it may be mere coincidence and beyond my complete control. I do not personally endorse the products and services advertised in these ads and these companies are not affiliated with the site or myself.

Affiliate Programs

MackMichaels.org may receive a small commission for any qualifying click, lead or sale from some of the products and services featured on this site. This is a very common online practice for referring customers. The income I receive in this manner does not cost the customer more than if they were to use or join the service directly. Even where an affiliate link may be within a review it does not effect the content of the review, or its ranking within the site.

The money I earn through my affiliate links helps defer both the upkeep and development costs of this review site and go towards paying for the time spent maintaining, updating and improving the many elements of this website.

I do not receive revenue from all products and services reviewed on MackMichaels.org. Again, whether or not the product or service has an affiliate program does not affect my recommendation as I judge all reviewed products and services impartially. If I do belong to the affiliate program of a product or service reviewed by me on this website then my membership of the affiliate program is always based on my belief that the business and its product or service will provide value to a consumer.

In some cases, I may receive the product or service for free purely for review purposes – common practice in high traffic or authority review websites. This will not affect my rating or review and I will consider full retail price when commenting on value for money.

Why does MackMichaels.org use Affiliate Programs?

The practice of using affiliate links is common practice among online businesses. It allows one business to promote another business to their customers and to take a share for the referral and/or sale in return. Virtually all large online retailers and price comparison websites, famous brands and manufacturers use exactly the same techniques as part of their online advertising and marketing mix.

For the avoidance of doubt, MackMichaels.org aims to provide a similarly honest and frank review of a product or service whether there is an affiliate link within a review or not. Editorial content is not altered by the inclusion or exclusion of an affiliate link.
